A plan to remove the the U.S. air-traffic control system from government would also add protections for airline passengers bumped from flights. The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee unveiled legislation on Wednesday setting policy for aviation that includes measures to prevent the high-profile incident earlier this year in which a passenger was dragged off a flight by security officers after being bumped, Chairman Bill Shuster, a Pennsylvania Republican, said at a briefing.
