Abra expands role of legally blind chief strategist

Abra Group, a leading aviation group, has announced the expansion of Michael Swiatek's role, adding the responsibility of Chief Accessibility Officer to his current position as Chief Strategy Officer of the group.

Abra Group, a leading aviation group, has announced the expansion of Michael Swiatek’s role, adding the responsibility of Chief Accessibility Officer to his current position as Chief Strategy Officer of the group.

Swiatek brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held some of the most senior roles at leading airlines around the world for over 30 years.

Swiatek, who is legally blind, outlines the progress and remaining challenges in accessibility, emphasising the need for awareness, training, process reengineering, digital technology, and accessible hardware.
