Charlotte Bailey’s fascination with the aerospace industry began at the grassroots GA level, where her lessons on a Piper Supercub have proved invaluable in informing her understanding of the principles and challenges surrounding fixed-wing flight. Alongside a keen interest in vintage jets (most notably the de Havilland Vampire, the subject of her first book), she also writes about the future of flight, urban air mobility and the defence sector. She is a finalist for ‘Best Young Journalist of the Year’ in the 2023 and 2024 Aerospace Media Awards.
