Thousands of people on Flightradar24 have tracked a rare visit by a US Air Force C-37B aircraft to Moscow, sparking widespread speculation about the purpose of the flight.
The aircraft, often used for government and military transport, was closely monitored on the flight tracking platform as it made its way to the Russian capital.
The flight has fuelled intrigue given the current strained relations between Washington and Moscow.
While there has been no official confirmation regarding the nature of the visit, the unusual movement of a US military aircraft into Russian airspace has led to widespread discussion on social media.
Flightradar24 wrote on X: “Our most tracked flight — after spending less than an hour on the ground in Moscow, a US Air Force C-37B is headed west again.”
