Refurbished Emirates 777s to serve two more cities
Emirates is to deploy its newly retrofitted Boeing 777s to two more cities (Zurich and Riyadh) from 1 October 2024, with the refurbished aircraft to also operate from Geneva and Brussels.
Emirates’ enhanced 777 (featuring the carrier’s latest cabins) will mark the debut of its premium economy class in the Middle East / GCC when the aircraft lands in Riyadh for the first time. Additionally, Geneva will become the first city in the Emirates network to offer premium economy and newly refreshed business class cabins on all flights from 22 September, while the airline will operate its second retrofitted 777 to Brussels from 9 October.
The airline plans to serve 28 cities with premium economy by the end of 2024. 25 aircraft have been retrofitted so far, with a further 17 to undergo conversion by the end of the year; each featuring six or eight first class suites, 38 business class seats, 24 premium economy seats, and 260 economy class spaces.
