Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines launch codeshare deal

Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines have announced a new partnership that will see enhanced connections between Manila and Doha, starting from mid-June.
Under the agreement, Philippine Airlines will begin operating daily nonstop flights between the Philippine capital and Doha from 16 June 2025. Qatar Airways will codeshare on these flights in the first phase of the cooperation.
The new service will see flights departing Manila at 18:50, arriving in Doha at 23:40. In the opposite direction, passengers arriving in Doha on Qatar Airways flights will be able to connect onwards to Manila on Philippine Airlines’ service, departing Doha at 01:30 and landing in Manila at 16:15 local time.

Philippine Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer, Captain Stanley K. Ng, said: “As Philippine Airlines expands its presence across the globe, we are delighted to forge new alliances that enable us to build new connections and give our business and leisure passengers more flexibility and seamless access in flying to their desired destinations.”
He added: “Our decision to offer daily frequency to Doha is enabled by our exciting strategic partnership with Qatar Airways and will help us stimulate tourism, trade flows and business growth in the context of the strong bilateral relationship between the Philippines and Qatar. Our vital Overseas Filipino Workers and their families will also greatly benefit from this new partnership.”
The new flights will be operated by Philippine Airlines’ Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
