Pilatus has announced plans to develop a factory-owned flagship sales, design and service centre in Bradenton, Florida, which will be operational by 2026.

Recognising that the US is Pilatus’ largest market for its business aircraft, “our new facility in Bradenton will be a showcase for ‘Pilatus Class’ sales and service, and will be a flagship store that will serve as a model for our global network of Authorized Pilatus Sales and Service Centers,” commented Justin Lazzei, CEO of Pilatus’ sales and service center for the US East Coast.

The facility at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (representing tens of millions of dollars of investment) will encompass 17 acres on the north side of the airport. Initial development will include 54,000 square feet dedicated to maintenance activity, spare parts distribution and new aircraft deliveries, with an additional 17,000 square feet of workshops, office and administrative space.

Potential growth plans could also include final assembly provision for aircraft delivering to North and South America.
