New premier helicopter experience to Kennedy Space Centre launched
Grande Lakes Orlando has launched an exclusive helicopter experience to NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre, allowing resort guests unique aerial views of the centre’s iconic buildings as well as a variety of other elements.
The Kennedy Space Centre Helicopter Tour package (starting at $12,800) will fly four guests from the Grande Lakes Orlando property aboard a Lockheed EC-130 helicopter, “beginning with a thrilling aerial tour over the Kennedy Space Centre, the Vehicle Assembly Building, Shuttle Landing Strip, and then south to view Port Canaveral before touching down,” explains its organsiers.
Guests will then be greeted by a personal guide for a tour of the centre’s exhibits, lunch at a “unique rooftop venue” and a pre-sunset flight back to Great Lakes Orlando. The resort-curated concierge-led programme is arranged by Space Tour experience company Galactic Medallion.
