New Bombardier line maintenance station at Farnborough Airport
Bombardier has opened a new line maintenance station at Farnborough Airport, with the facility able to accommodate light scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as well as OEM support to all Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft.
The line maintenance station at Farnborough Airport adds to Bombardier’s “wide array of options” for the business jet manufacturer’s European customers, complementing its network of ten service centres and 35 mobile response team units located worldwide.
Bombardier will join existing on-site full-service aircraft support partners Gulfstream Aerospace and Dassault Aviation Business Services, with the latter also offering a complete range of maintenance capabilities onsite. With more than 70 tenants onsite in total, “Farnborough
Airport is at the centre of a dynamic and fast-growing aerospace and aviation industry cluster”.
“Over the years, we have made significant investment to the airports’ facilities and infrastructure, which has increasingly attracted aviation, aerospace and adjacent industries into the region,” commented Simon Geere, CEO at Farnborough Airport. “We’re delighted to welcome Bombardier to Farnborough Airport as we look to continue to expand our offering and solidify our position as the largest and most important business aviation gateway in the UK”.
