Lufthansa Group plans 10,000 new hires

Lufthansa Group has announced ambitious hiring plans for 2025, aiming to recruit around 10,000 new employees across a wide range of roles to support its growing operations.
Among the roles on offer, Lufthansa plans to hire over 2,000 flight attendants, 1,400 ground operations staff, and 1,300 technical specialists.
Additionally, the group is seeking around 1,200 administrative employees and 800 pilots. More than half of the new hires will be based in Germany.
Lufthansa Technik, the group’s technical services arm, is set to welcome over 2,000 new recruits, while Austrian Airlines and Eurowings are each planning to add 700 employees to their teams.
Lufthansa Airlines, the flagship carrier, will prioritise operational roles, with approximately 1,200 hires planned for 2025 as it continues its efficiency programme.
Over the past three years, the Lufthansa Group has added more than 30,000 new employees.

“Last year alone, we received 350,000 applications across the group and recruited over 13,000 employees. We look forward to welcoming every new colleague.”
