In January 2025, Airbus delivered 25 new Airbus airliners and received orders for 55 new aircraft. Deliveries included 23 narrow bodied single aisle aircraft and two widebodies.
The narrow bodies comprised three A220s, two A319neo aircraft, and seven examples of the A320neo. The most popular type (in terms of deliveries) again being the A321neo, with eleven aircraft going to airline customers. Airbus also delivered two A350s.
The A220 deliveries included one A220-300 to Delta Air Lines and two A220-300s to JetBlue Airways. Single A319neos were delivered to China Southern Airlines and West Air.
Single A320neo aircraft went to Air Astana, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, easyJet, flyadeal, flynas and Jetstar Airways. Single A321 neo aircraft went to China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Wizz Air, while China Airlines and United Airlines each received two, and IndiGo took three.
On the widebody front, Emirates received an A350-900 and Japan Airlines received a single A350-1000.
Most of the announced orders in January were for undisclosed customers, one such ordering 25 A320neos and another booking an A321neo.
An Undisclosed customer ordered ten A330-900s and another anonymous buyer ordered six A350-900s. The final ‘mystery’ order was for three A350Fs.
Lufthansa ordered five more A350-1000s and STARLUX ordered five A350Fs.
