Boeing has published its numbers for April 2025, when the company received eight orders and delivered 45 new Boeing airliners and derivatives. This marked a significant reduction in orders compared to March, when Boeing booked orders for 192 aircraft, and cancellations for 29 aircraft, but orders were up from 41 new aircraft.

This compared to Airbus’ eleven orders in April, and 56 deliveries.

Boeing’s April order book comprised eight Boeing 737MAXs for undisclosed customer(s).

The company delivered 29 737MAX aircraft, two Boeing 767-300Fs, four Boeing 777Fs, six 787-9s and two 787-10s, as well as single examples of the P-8A Poseidon and KC-46A Pegasus.

The 29 737MAX deliveries in February included single examples to the following airlines: Akasa Air, Allegiant Air, BOC Aviation Ltd, China Southern Airlines, and flydubai. American Airlines took two, and Air India Express took four. Ryanair and Southwest each received five MAXs, and eight went to United Airlines. Boeing still hopes to reach a rate of 38 new-build MAXs per month — the current Federal Aviation Administration cap “later this year” and then to get FAA approval to go to an even higher rate (initially 42 aircraft per month) once production is meeting the mandated quality standards.

The slight reduction in MAX deliveries compared to the March total (32) was balanced by improved freighter and widebody sales. Fedex and UPS each took delivery of single Boeing 767-300Fs, while China Cargo Airlines and Emirates received single 777Fs. DHL Americas took two 777Fs.

787 deliveries are up from five in February and four in March to eight in April, and the company delivered more 787s than Airbus delivered A330s and A350s. Single 787-9s went to Air Canada and United Airlines, while American Airlines and EVA Air each took two. Single 787-10s went to Air Lease Corporation and Korean Air.

On the military derivative side, one P-8A was delivered to the Luftwaffe, and one KC-46A to the USAF.

Over the whole of 2025, Boeing has now received orders for 249 aircraft, and has delivered 175 aircraft.
