King Air air ambulance for Peru

The first of two Beechcraft King Air 360C air ambulance aircraft has been delivered to the Peruvian Air Force (Fuerza Aérea del Perú).

The Peruvian Air Force (Fuerza Aérea del Perú) has received the first of two Beechcraft King Air 360C air ambulance aircraft. These were acquired directly from Textron Aviation Inc.to strengthen light transport and aeromedical evacuation capabilities, and will augment several King Air 360 transports used by Grupo Aéreo de Transporte N°8, and two King Air 360ER maritime surveillance aircraft being produced for the Peruvian Naval Aviation Force (Fuerza Aviación Naval del Perú).

The new aircraft were delivered to the Las Palmas Air Base, the home of Grupo Aéreo N°31, where they were greeted by the president of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, the president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzén Olaya, the minister of defence, General de División Walter Astudillo Chávez and the Comandante General of the FAP, General del Aire Carlos Enrique Chávez Cateriano.
