Didier Kayat has been appointed chairman of the board at the Daher Group, alongside his role as group chief executive.

He succeeds Patrick Daher in the chairman’s position which he has held since 2016 while Olivier Genis has been made the group’s vice president of the board.

Following his appointment, Kayat will now oversee the implementation of the group’s Take Off 2027 strategic plan, assisted by Genis.

Daher said: “I am very proud of the progress made by the Daher Group, and I have full confidence in Didier Kayat and Olivier Genis to continue the development for decades to come.

“In recent years, the group experienced strong growth and made multiple transformative acquisitions in each of its core businesses, thanks to Didier’s contributions.”

Kayat added: “The aeronautics sector is experiencing extraordinary changes, of which we are only beginning to see the impact.”Subscribe to the FINN weekly newsletter
