BeOnd Airlines starts luxury service between Milan and the Maldives

BeOnd Airlines has commenced scheduled services between Milan-Malpensa and Male, the Maldives, aboard “the world’s dedicated premium leisure airline”.
The new twice-weekly route will augment BeOnd’s existing services, first launched in November 2023, with the airline currently offering flights between its home hub of Male and Dubai, Riyadh, Milan and Zurich.
“Our goal has been to exceed every expectation of our customers from the moment they boo with us until they arrive in the Maldives and enjoy one of the world’s most unique destionations,” said Tero Taskila, CEO of beOnd, who described the reception from Milan as “excellent”.
The startup carrier – founded in 2022 – claims to be the world’s only airline to offer an ‘all-premium’ experience on board its specially-configured A319. Its aim is to connect the Maldives with over 60 destinations worldwide, offering discerning travellers a business-class-only experience.
BeOnd’s first A319 features dark charcoal and copper livery, with the exclusive cabin incorporating many elements of Italian design. “Partners like Poltrona Frau and Optimares were instrumental in the design of our luxurious cabin,” explained Taliska. “You can sense it when you board the aircraft – an all-white leather seat, embossed with the BeOnd logo. It’s elegant and timeless – and handmade”.
