Air Algérie appoints CPaT to support pilot training requirements

CPaT Global, which specialises in distance learning for the aviation industry, has been awarded a contract by Air Algérie to provide its Pilot Training Suite for the Algerian flag-carrying airline’s trainee pilots.

CPaT Global, which specialises in distance learning for the aviation industry, has been awarded a contract by Air Algérie to provide its Pilot Training Suite for the Algerian flag-carrying airline’s trainee pilots.

The training suite will cover training across Air Algérie’s diverse fleet of 54 aircraft, which is comprised of ATR turboprops, Boeing 737s and Airbus A330s. The airline has also revealed plans to expand with 32 new aircraft over the next five years.

“By delivering tailored training solutions for their pilots across multiple aircraft types, we aim to enhance operational readiness and support Air Algérie’s commitment to excellence as the flag carrier of Algeria,” said Capt. Greg Darrow, vice president of sales for CPaT.

He was joined by Air Algérie’s director of training/ directorate of flight operations, Capt. Samiri Hassini, who said the collaboration will “enhance the skills and readiness of our pilots across various aircraft types. With CPaT’s tailored training solutions, we are confident that Air Algérie will continue to deliver the highest standards of safety and efficiency to our passengers.”

Air Algérie, which is developing its own training academy currently employs 606 pilots and 1,300 cabin crew.
