PLAY Airlines agrees partnership deal with easyJet

Icelandic low-cost carrier PLAY Airlines has agreed a partnership with easyJet through the expansion of its PLAY Connect platform, offering travellers access to a wide range of more than 350 destinations.
Made possible through technology firm Dohop’s interlining technology, the arrangement will make it easier than ever for customers to book connected flights and for the airline to meet the growing demand for unique travel itineraries.
“With Dohop’s alternative interlining technology, we are not just expanding our network; we’re transforming the way our customers travel,” said Tatiana Shirokova, head of distribution at PLAY Airlines. “The inclusion of easyJet into PLAY Connect allows us to provide an extensive range of destinations while ensuring a seamless and cost-effective travel experience.”
She was joined by easyJet’s global lead strategic airline partnerships and connectivity, Dawn Hardwick, who said the agreement underpins the popular low-cost carrier’s commitment to make travel as easy as possible, while providing more choice and greater value. “With our strong presence at Europe’s leading airports we are now able to offer connecting passenger on PLAY Airlines greater access to our route network connecting Europe’s primary airports with great value fares and friendly service.”
Looking ahead and following its latest airline collaboration, PLAY Airlines’ will continue building its global network through partnerships with carriers across he US, Canada, the Middle East, LATAM and Asia.
