FDH Aero, a provider of supply chain solutions for the aerospace and defence industries, has agreed a surplus management programme (Surplus2Revenue) between its PDQ Airspares and Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia, one of the largest aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul companies serving the Asia-Pacific region.

A commemoration signing ceremony took place during the MRO Asia-Pacific conference in Singapore.

“[The] signing represents a significant milestone in our partnership with GMF,” said Paul Rice, managing director of PDQ Airspares.

“Expanding our cooperation with the surplus asset management program will not only help GMF manage their surplus material but will increase inventory availability across the region for PDQ.”

The new deal expands upon PDQ and GMF’s previous consignment agreement signed at MRO Asia-Pacific last year, further strengthening PDQ Airspares as a premier provider of maintenance and repair consumables to GMF. Under the new three-year surplus management partnership, PDQ has agreed to sell GMF’s surplus stock to PDQ’s portfolio of customers.

FDH Aero has become a leading global supply chain solutions partner, which delivers a full range of hardware, electrical and consumable products and value-add services.

GMF AeroAsia, which is based in Tangerang, Indonesia, employs more than 4,000 people in offices around the world.
