Healthcare training isn’t always accessible in developing countries but Orbis have come up with a unique solution to this, with the world’s only flying eye hospital. We talked to Bruce Johnson, Director of Aircraft Operations and Maintenance, to find out more.
On board is a state-of-the-art teaching facility complete with operating room, classroom and recovery room. The plane flies to developing countries to provide training for doctors and nurses, as well as delivering sight-saving surgery.
