Safran Aircraft Engines recently introduced the B.SIde borescope inspection (BSI) service which remotely connects to a Safran aircraft engine expert when required and enables live image-sharing. Marcellette Cloche, Safran, demonstrates how it works.
The service includes a video converter and a web platform. Participants can collaborate via voice, photos, video and document sharing for clarity. By sharing videos and interacting in real-time, technicians talk directly with the OEM to get advice when needed, no matter where they are located.
