Stuart Simpson joined Vertical Aerospace as Chief Executive in September 2023, leading the company as it advances towards certification and commercial production of its electric aircraft, Valo. Before joining Vertical, Stuart held senior leadership roles at several FTSE 100 companies, including Group CFO of Avast during its merger with NortonLifeLock, and Interim CEO, CFO and COO at Royal Mail. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at General Motors and Rolls-Royce & Bentley Motor Cars.
