Kerissa Khan is a global aviation leader, driving transformative solutions to human and environmental challenges. A former President and trustee of the Royal Aeronautical Society, she also served on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Autonomous Mobility.

She now leads research and innovation in frontier technologies to strengthen security, resilience and national capability. Previously, she delivered the £300 million UK Future Flight Challenge, advancing next-generation aviation to improve connectivity, accessibility and social equity.

An expert in integrated aerospace systems and international speaker, Kerissa is recognised as a leading voice in future air mobility. In 2024, she received the Air League Founder’s Medal. She holds an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Glasgow and an honorary DSc from Cranfield University. She is also a Trustee of Aviation for Good.
