Jean-Christophe holds an engineering degree and a joint Master’s in Business and Project Management from HEC and ISAE Supaero. He has over 12 years of experience in aerospace and defense, including nine years at Airbus in business development, bid management, team leadership, and as Chief of Staff, before focusing on sustainable aviation. In 2014, he joined the E-Fan program, leading the historic Channel crossing and later managing the E-Fan 2.0 program, gaining deep insight into electric and hybrid aviation challenges spanning certification, industrialization, and commercialization. Since 2018, he has served as CEO of Ascendance, developing eVTOL aircraft and hybrid-electric propulsion solutions for cleaner aviation. He was awarded the European CleanSky High Five Award for contributions to sustainability in aeronautics.
