James Taylor
James Taylor is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management and Logistics at LSI, where he leads complex supply chain, logistics, procurement, and program management initiatives supporting aerospace, defence, government, and commercial clients. He brings extensive expertise in defence sustainment, supplier development, advanced manufacturing, contract logistics, strategic sourcing, and public-private partnerships.
Throughout his career, James has supported major federal and state programs, including large-scale aviation logistics operations, defence manufacturing initiatives, and supply chain modernization efforts for organizations such as the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). His leadership has helped improve mission readiness, strengthen supplier resilience, enhance operational visibility, and deliver measurable performance improvements across complex, mission-critical environments.
James holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management and a Master of Business Administration. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Supply Chain Management at Weber State University.
