Vita Inclinata Technologies, a leader in intelligent lifting solutions for the aerospace and industrial construction industries, has successfully completed US Army Airworthiness qualification, as well as Air Force testing for its Vita Rescue System (VRS).

The first VRS units produced for the US Army were recently delivered to the South Carolina Army National Guard. Following initial training the system is now operational with the South Carolina Helicopter Aquatic Rescue Team (SC-HART) to develop interagency search and rescue capabilities.

Explaining that the VRS is designed to provide aircraft and operating crew with complete control over rescue hoist motion, Derek Sikora, co-founder and chief technology officer at Vita Inclinata. “Our mission is to deliver human-machine integrated solutions that enhance determinism and precision in helicopter rescue operations. Completing these rigorous testing and qualification programmes reinforces the VRS’ potential to transform outcomes for military and civilian teams alike,” he said.

The VRS represents a new era for rescue operations, blending advanced technology with practical solutions to meet the complex demands of modern missions.

The deployment with SC-HART highlights the transformative impact of the VRS on real-world rescue missions,” said Vita Inclincata CEO, Caleb Carr. “This partnership is just the beginning of our impact to save lives and enhance operational success through innovation.”
