Embraer designates Fokker Services Asia as an authorised service center

Fokker Services Asia has been appointed as an Embraer Authorised Service Center, enabling maintenance services on its first-generation E-Jets family in Singapore
The appointment not only enables Embraer to expand and strengthen its support network in Asia Pacific, it also enhances Fokker Services Group’s capabilities across the region. Fokker Services Asia’s focus will be on the E190 aircraft.
Commenting on his enthusiasm for the new partnership and how it will offer a strategic additional location for customers, Frank Stevens, VP of MRO Services at Embraer Services & Support, said the partnership “will potentially provide more capacity, capability and help us to keep expanding Embraer’s Authorized Service Center footprint in Asia-Pacific.”
Meanwhile, Thomas Kennedy, managing director of Fokker Services Asia, added that Embraer’s certification will “further enhanced Fokker Services Asia by establishing a comprehensive new line of work for Embraer aircraft maintenance in the region.”
He added, that the presence of the first Embraer aircraft from Alliance Airlines (Australia), which is already in the hangar “is testament to our readiness and commitment.”
Embraer’s first generation E-Jets fleet in Asia Pacific are operated by airlines in Australia, India, Myanamar, Japan and China.
