Ferrovial sells 50% stake in AGS Airports

Ferrovial has announced the sale of its 50% stake in AGS Airports Holdings Limited, the parent company of Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton Airports.

Ferrovial has announced the sale of its 50% stake in AGS Airports Holdings Limited, the parent company of Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Southampton Airports.

Joint venture partner Macquarie will also divest its 50% share, with the agreement valuing AGS at £900 million in equity, subject to adjustments and costs. The deal places AGS’s enterprise value at £1.535 billion.

Completion, expected in Q1 2025, is pending regulatory approvals.

Ferrovial anticipates a capital gain of approximately €290 million. The company remains a global infrastructure leader, operating in over 15 countries with 24,000 employees worldwide.
